Good news for rolling into the new year! Exodus Family Ministries now has a new website to keep growing their services to the local community.
They started serving the community last year (yes, in the middle of a COVID year!) to lend support for children and their families in our new, pandemic era learning environments. Adding home based teaching to the load parents already carried before the pandemic was a huge strain to many area families. Exodus Family Ministries simply began with the areas of greatest need: tutoring children in a safe and encouraging environment.
Their mission went beyond the basics of a classroom. They wanted to create a place of hope, based on kindness, learning, and reinforcing to every child and family member that each one of them is undeniably important as a person, and not alone in their journey.
When they reached out to us from a referral, of course we jumped in! We partnered with Element 502 , a Louisville based digital agency and web design firm, to bring their new website to life, and grow their outreach.
Exodus Family Ministries wanted to show their story, offer student sign up forms, donation and calendaring interactions, highlight their partnerships and feature their staff. Tutoring, lunches/snacks, supplies, and events are just a few of the services they've managed to bring into reality. In addition, it was important to showcase their safety protocols - both for health and security. We believe they achieved that.
